Shopify has declared its 3rd Build a Business contest to be held this year for offering necessary guidance to business owners.

Ottawa (I-Newswire) August 9, 2012 - In the ever expanding market space, effective eCommerce has paved the way for many entrepreneurs to cut through the clutter. And in this realm, Ottawa based Shopify-one of the most prominent eCommerce applications has proved its worth time and again.

The news is that the organization is back with its Build a Business contest for the third time around. And this time the organization has the allied itself with certain famous names from the industry to mentor the competitors.

Shopify founder, Tobias Lutke remarked that previous two seasons of the competition were quite successful, wherein 4,438 fresh businesses were formed and sold products worth 15 million dollars. He also said that last year’s victors- 5 Engineers from the Waterloo University, created an open source system named Turtlebot, which was a completely customizable framework.
