Shockwave Motors is in the competition for a $250,000 grant from the Pepsi Refresh Everything Project! They are also holding a contest to give away five copies of the book, Electric Cars: The Switch is On.

Morristown, TN (I-Newswire) January 8, 2011 - Shockwave Motors has been accepted to participate in the competition for a grant from the Pepsi Refresh Everything Project! If you are not familiar with that, it’s a program that awards grants to all kinds of projects ranging from community service to efforts to improve the environment. This is a great opportunity for this progressive start-up company to receive funding to build body molds, equip a shop, order parts, and begin scalable production!

They are also holding a contest to give away five copies of the book, Electric Cars: The Switch is On. To enter the contest, download a copy of the “I voted today for a greener tomorrow calendar” and every day check off that you voted (either on the website or by texting). After the first of February, send the calendar, along with your name and address, to Shockwave Motors, 5840 Brights Pike, Russellville, TN 37860.
