Shapiro and Sher Named Top Prudential Sales Team in Nevada

Las Vegas, NV (I-Newswire) April 7, 2011 - Prudential Americana Group named Shapiro & Sher Group its top selling real estate team in 2010, with more than $80 million sold during the year. The group has been a Prudential team since 2005 and specializes in the luxury real estate market.

Shapiro, originally from Paris, has worked in real estate for more than 30 years. Sher started his luxury real estate career 11 years ago and the two became partners in 2005. Since 2005, the partners have seen Las Vegas endure one of its most challenging economies ever. The partners agree that their business has changed in the last two years but believe it has made them even stronger as a company. “Two years ago, the luxury market in Southern Nevada evaporated,” said Sher. “We had to recreate our market and get back to basics. We got back on the phone and initiated real conversations with our sellers to make price reductions and modify our strategies,” he said.
