New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome Wednesday Webinar series continues on February 9th.

Somerville, NJ (I-Newswire) January 13, 2011 - Selective Mutism is the subject of a no-cost presentation, Wednesday February 9, 2011 presented by Dr. Brian Chu. This presentation is part of the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome’s Wednesday Webinar Series.

Selective Mustism: Coordinated Behavioral Approaches for Therapists, Parents and Schools will explore descriptions of this behavioral disorder, an understanding of how it appears in children, associated impairments and strategies for parents, schools and therapists in addressing this problem.

Brian C. Chu, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology and the Department of Psychology of Rutgers University. His expertise includes assessment, treatment and dissemination of evidence-based treatment to schools and community clinic settings.

This will be a 30-minute presentation followed by a 30 minute question and answer session. Professional development credits will be offered upon completion of the exit survey. NJCTS will distribute proof of these credits by mail the week following the webinar.
