Seavenger is one of the pioneer innovators in supplying prescription diving mask lenses, offering a wide range of interchangeable lenses in clear, tinted and optical prescription choices. With the introduction of the Tilos Hawk Eyes Scuba Diving Masks, Seavenger now features prescription lens choices in bi-focal diopters, in addition to the existing variety of different masks currently offered from premier dive manufacturer IST Sports.
According to Michael McQueen, Marketing Director at Seavenger, the bi-focal mask line, and online lens calculator are part of Seavenger’s on-going commitment to creating an increasingly diver-friendly environment. “For years, we have established a reputation for being one of the only providers of distance lens prescription masks,” he stated. “But customers were constantly asking for bi-focal compatible gauge-reader masks, which are very difficult to find. Finally we can offer them.”
Seavenger has also developed an exclusive on-site lens calculator that completely eliminates the need for personal assistance in choosing the right mask diopter. “Customers are continually intimidated and confused as to how to calculate lens strength based on seemingly complicated sphere corrections, cylinder corrections, axis angles, NV and ADD numbers. Our internal web design programmers were able to develop a simple drop-down chart and calculator that reduces the whole process to a matter of online seconds. We are the first and only dive supplier with a lens calculator like this, and have plans to copyright it,” states McQueen.
In addition to distance and bifocal masks, Seavenger also carries a line of corrective lens swim goggles.
