Seat14A.com Launches Limited Edition Micro-Collections For Men Through Different International Fashion Designers

Seat 14A is a brand new concept in mens’ fashion that allows fashion to become accessible from a designer, consumer, distributor, and retailer prospective.

New Delhi (I-Newswire) March 5, 2013 - Seat 14A is a brand new concept in fashion. Seat 14A offers micro-collections (2 to 4 items that make up a complete outfit) designed by a different up and coming designer every 2 weeks or until sold out. Seat 14A controls the manufacturing and distribution of the designer collection while giving the designer a royalty out of sales. “We provide transparency on our analytics (purchase velocity and geographical breakdown) to not only the designer but also to retail and distribution partners. This enables them to make purchase decisions backed by solid data.” said co-founder Nav Chatterji.

Seat 14A offers a unique experience to the fashion forward male consumer as well as for the fashion designer. Seat 14A works with the designer on co-ideation, sourcing of material, creating samples and manufacturing. Seat 14A also takes care of the photo-shoot and website selling logistics (buying and shipping). Seat 14A promotes the collection on social media and through their email list. The consumer gets an opportunity to see a wide variety of designers and styles every 2 weeks. The benefit being that the micro-collection makes up a complete and complementing ensemble. The inaugural micro-collection was by Sergio Bonatelli from Italy. His micro-collection included a brown, herringbone, tweed blazer with elbow patches. A brown wool scarf and brown felt pocket square completed the micro-collection. This micro-collection sold out in 5 days. The current collection is by Emily Hong from Brooklyn. The ensemble includes Jodhpuri style pants, a black t-shirt, acrylic grey scarf and leather wrist band.

Micro-collection price ranges from $99 to $299 and shipping to anywhere in the world is free. Currently, Seat 14A’s head office is in New Delhi, but they have plans to open a NYC office later this year.
