SDI Government Solutions Hires Piazza Advertising Founder and CEO

(I-Newswire) January 19, 2010 - SDI Government Solutions, a leader in information performance solutions for the Department of Defense and other government agencies, announced that Hope Fulgham, Founder and CEO of Piazza Advertising, Inc., has joined the company as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Fulgham is a forerunner in the fields of augmented reality and virtual reality, emerging technologies that are revolutionizing the military’s training materials. She also brings a wealth of strategic planning success and business development knowledge, specifically in the areas of mobile applications and simulation development.

As CEO of Piazza Advertising, Fulgham executed the development of virtual warfare flight simulations for the FA-18 Hornet and T-45 Goshawk. She also oversaw the creation of specification papers for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, X-47B J-UCAS, Joint Unmanned Combat Air Systems, V-22 Osprey Bell tiltrotor aircraft and the GBU-39/B Weapon Small Diameter Bomb. Her team designed and implemented several defense-related websites, including Janes.com, CyberNet.com, AirForce.com and NASA’s website and also managed the sites’ encryption engineering.

Fulgham’s team of developers and designers has also designed augmented reality products, mobile applications and simulation products for the military’s training programs. These products make training exercises more accessible in the field or on the base using mobile eLearning, supporting the military’s net-centric future.

In addition to defense systems and technological expertise, Fulgham has also demonstrated strong business development skills. Fulgham designed and led strategic partnerships with a wide variety of defense clientele including Jane’s, the FBI, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics. She also has experience with many Fortune 500 companies.

Fulgham earned her MMA Master in Management from Harvard University. She taught as an adjunct professor at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Loyola University in Chicago and Northwestern University.
