Scintel Technologies Supports the Global Partners in Peace and Development

Atlanta (I-Newswire) September 29, 2011 - Scintel Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of consulting and IT services, has announced its plans to work with the Global Partners in Peace and Development to support the 2011 India Invitational golf tournament. This event will raise funds to build new homes, renovate existing homes, and to purchase daily necessities for the orphaned children living in Southern India.

Global Partners in Peace and Development is a non-profit organization designed to do charitable, developmental and educational work around the world. They have been working around the world to care for the poor and needy since 2003, and currently are working in Asia, East Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Haiti. One of the largest projects is the orphan work in Southern India. Global Partners, along with the help of Indian nationals, have been able to meet the needs of 640 children in 15 different children’s homes.

The purpose of the 2011 India Invitational is to raise funds for the betterment of orphaned children in Southern India. Over the past 5 years, the Global Partners have raised $88,000 from the golf tournament. With the funds raised at this year’s tournament, Global partners will be able to build a new childrens home, a well for the home, and provide necessities of daily life to support all of the new children they have been blessed with over the past year. They also will be able to provide food for families in need and gifts for the children.

The 2011 Global Partners in Peace and Development India Invitational will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 9:00am at Hampton Golf Village in Cumming, GA. The event will be an 18-hole four person Captain’s Choice Tournament open to men and women of all ages.
