Sci-fi Thriller Author, DCS joins Blog Talk Radio as a new Host

(I-Newswire) February 5, 2010 - February 2010 – BlogTalkRadio is the largest and fastest growing social radio network on the internet, and it just got a new host. Author of Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening, a novel fans have coined, “the Godfather meets Stargate”, DCS is hosting her own shown every Saturday night at 9pm CST.

Paranormal 101, created by musician and paranormal researcher Steve Orion was already a popular hit on the BTR network. After doing an interview with Steve, the two developed a quick friendship, and Steve began persuading DCS to host her own show.

“When he first asked me I was hesitant. I tend to have trouble coming up with topic matter for my blog, but only because I like to talk about things that I can relate too. I want my readers to feel a connection, not just skim over a list of information,” commented DCS. “But eventually I saw the opportunity, not only to promote my novel but to reach a wider audience of people. Steve has been a great mentor too, and is really hands on with the show which is extremely helpful.”

“I want to make our show one of the most popular on BTR,” Steve said. And they may well be on their way to doing just that. DCS debut show, Mysticism and Science featured seventy-eight live callers and has received 155 downloads, an impressive start.

In the Mind of DCS will cover a range of topics spanning from the metaphysical, to UFOlogy, ancient civilizations and their esoteric knowledge, government conspiracy Theories and more.

“Consistency and great topic matter will be the key,” says DCS. “Steve and I are pretty much on the same wave length in what we want to accomplish with the show. We want to be a light, we want to be a place where seekers on the path of spirituality, and awakening can get practical information to help them on their journey.”

Profile:
DCS was born in Alexandria Virginia. She graduated high school in Huntersville, NC and attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte intent on earning a degree in Political Science and becoming a lawyer. She instead eventually turned to writing.
She spent time in the corporate world in records management, and briefly considered the possibility of making a living converting corporate paper into searchable tiffs. She then realized that the telling of well researched stories was her first, true love. Synarchy is her first novel and was named a finalist in the 2008 Best Book Awards sponsored by USA Book News. Five more novels are scheduled for release, with the second Synarchy Book 2: The Ascension due out in the spring.
