Schroder PR Expands Firm

Atlanta (I-Newswire) July 21, 2011 - Schroder PR welcomes four new members to their team: Helen Grebe as vice president, Jan Schroder as editorial director, Crystal Cooper as account coordinator and Ashley Lodge as intern.

Helen Grebe has extensive experience in journalism, public relations and marketing. In her 15-year career, Grebe has specialized in branding, media relations, crisis communications and launching new products to market. She has written for more than 30 publications including business publications, lifestyle magazines and national print publications. She also owned her own consulting business helping household brands gain both local and national market coverage. Grebe gained national recognition as spokesperson for Zoo Atlanta. Grebe’s passions include writing, training C-level executives to appear on camera and devising branding for new products to launch to market. In her new role, Grebe will manage key accounts for Schroder PR providing high-level strategic counsel on branding, media coverage and crisis communications.

Jan Schroder is an award-winning journalist, managing editor of Travelgirl Magazine and author of four books. Her corporate clients have included AGL Resources, The Coca-Cola Company, King & Spalding, Colonial Properties and Consumer Credit Counseling Service. Schroder was previously employed as editor of Atlanta INtown and membership manager of the High Museum of Art. A native of Atlanta, Schroder is a graduate of The Westminster Schools and a cum laude graduate of the University of Virginia. As editorial director, Schroder will be in charge of maintaining overall editorial standards.

Crystal Cooper has taken on the role of account coordinator. A University of South Florida graduate and member of Kappa Tau Alpha National Honor Society in journalism and mass communications, Cooper was previously an intern for Schroder. As account coordinator, Cooper is responsible for creating branding proposals, client presentations and speech preparations, drafting press releases, op-eds and pitches and implementing social media campaigns, as well as co-managing the firm’s interns.

Ashley Lodge recently graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts from Florida State University. Lodge has prior experience in copywriting, social media relations and marketing. With a passion for public relations, Lodge hopes to gain new insight from the industry while adding a fresh perspective in her role as intern.
