Schneider Electric to Demonstrate the Energy Efficient Data Centre Available to All at Data Centre World

Data Centre containers, containment and software: Schneider Electric will be showing its integrated physical infrastructure and software solution on Stand G50 at Data Centre World 2013.

London (I-Newswire) February 15, 2013 - Schneider Electric’s exhibit at Data Centre World 2013 , London ExCel, February 27th – 28th, will include it’s comprehensive data centre offering for physical infrastructure and management software. The company is involved in both the expo, on Stand G50, and the conference track.

The conference presentation is entitled “Above the cloud - tools to ensure you come out on top.” Soeren Juul Schroeder, Software Director of Schneider Electric said “IT infrastructure analytics can serve as the intelligence to ensure cloud capacity is fully utilised and cost-effective. This presentation will help you understand how DCIM can increase data centre agility, availability, efficiency and profitability.” The session takes place at 12.15pm on Wednesday 27th February in the Network and Infrastructure Theatre.

In addition to its Struxureware for Data Centers DCIM software, Schneider Electric will be showcasing its modular solutions for data centre physical infrastructure. The company will display a full APC InfraStruxure solution for on-demand data centres complete with Hot Aisle Containment System (HACS). The containment system is designed to create a separate environment for air distribution to prevent mixing of hot and cold air streams and more predictable and efficient cooling.

From white space installations to increase density and efficiency to solutions to enable power and cooling capacity to be added incrementally, stand G50 will also provide a focus upon Schneider Electric’s Facility Power and Cooling modules. The containerised solutions address the need for fast, flexible and predictable capacity upgrades, allowing customers to deploy in weeks rather than months. The use of modular solutions is increasing as companies seek ways to overcome capital budget constraints and ensure that infrastructure and IT are aligned, or in parity.
