Scarlet Haven Nursing Care recently completed another highly successful annual skills fair, ensuring quality, effective and compassionate care for infant and pediatric patients.

Woodbridge (I-Newswire) September 5, 2012 - The skills fair was held exclusively for Scarlet Haven Nursing Care staff, designed to maintain the competency and expertise of their licensed practical nurses (LPNs). The fair was a huge success, with nearly seventy fully licensed practical nurses in attendance. The focus of the fair was on skills training and patient care that is then applied toward continuing education credits (CEUs).

"We decided to do a hands-on skills fair every six months to ensure that the nurses we hire have the necessary skills to work with the babies we provide care for," said Nenneh Brown, co-owner of Scarlet Haven Nursing Care. "In addition, Scarlet Haven's licensed practical nurses are required to attend hands-on training briefs at least once a week."
