"Imagination seldom runs wild
And when it does
You have a pen and paper."

These are the cheerful yet profound words that greet you when you visit Saurabh Dudeja's website. A product of the intermediate batch of 2006-07 of Meenakshi Public School, Saurabh is a self-confessed "boring software engineer, but an entertaining author and a motivational speaker who has addressed various schools in Hyderabad and Dehradun." Saurabh has recently made Meenakshi Public School proud by publishing a book that presents interesting insights into the lives and thoughts of the millennial generation.

"My first book is just like my technical son, titled 'Love You Forever Only In That Way!' It has been a great journey to attain an array of experiences and put them all together in this book. Sometimes these experiences went downhill, making my thoughts gloomy, especially since this book is based on the real story of acollege friend who tried committing suicide. In short, this book is a funny read with practical message to the youth of my nation, basically meant to stem youth-suicide cases in world. This book comes with its own song, titled 'Love You Forever... Only In That Way'. Whenever fan mails drops into my inbox explaining how my book transformed their lives and inspired them with practical insights, it brings a wide smile to my face. And with this smile and the hope of challenging the odds, my writing continues."

Saurabh is one of the numerous students that have justified Meenakshi Public School's system of education, which decrees that 'every child is different', and accordingly pays individual attention to its students. It is for this reason that, over the years, students of Meenakshi Public School have been able to distinguish themselves in a variety of fields.

"The time spent at MPS blessed me with a diverse learning," points out the fledgling author. "In such a setting, the most crucial pre-requisites for any person to outperform others were ethics and discipline. These qualities taught by MPS helped me to convert my vision and targets into reality. Talent opens the first gate of opportunity, but not the second. Ethics count far more than talent. This beautiful six letter word 'E.T.H.I.C.S' is what I will stick to like Fevicol in my entire professional life."

Saurabh describes his teachers at Meenakshi Public School as "second mothers or fathers to every student studying there". He further states that "This remarkable trait in every teacher helps students grow and widen their horizons in a disciplined manner, without allowing them to forget India's sacred, spiritual and moral traditions, which today's youth often lack."

Encouraged by the success of his debut novel, Saurabh is now working on his second one. He promises that this novel will be "another youth-centric novel that will expose various prevalent myths existing in the developed elite as well." He advises his fellow students of Meenakshi Public School that "This Life is not what we have; it is what we believe in. So chase your dreams in a way that they are daunted by the prospect of being caught someday."
