San Rafael Architectural Firm is a certified DBE, WBE and SBE

Share |

VMI Architecture has been granted status as a DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) in the State of California. This is in addition to their WBE (Woman Owned Business Enterprise) and SBE (Small Business Enterprise) certifications.

(I-Newswire) October 27, 2009 - San Rafael, CA, October 23, 2009 - VMI architecture’s status as a DBE, WBE and a Small Business will allow the firm to take a fresh approach with their marketing strategy. As a DBE, VMI architecture will increase their probability of being selected by Prime contractors, as VMI’s participation will help Primes to achieve contract participation goals set by the federal government. The firm believes this will help them transition into creating an increased presence in public sector work and maximize their government contracting opportunities.

In difficult times there is opportunity, and VMI has approached current economic changes with the outlook that there is something positive to come out of this, a new avenue for the firm to be of service.

This certification will help VMI position themselves in new territories and types of work, as well as open up teaming opportunities with other design professionals. Opportunities will also increase as qualified firms are included in a statewide database of professional contractors to have achieved DBE certification.
