San Diego Pretzel Company Celebrates 15 Years At Comic-Con With Anime Lovers

Since 1997, San Diego Pretzel Company has been proud to provide their twisted treats at San Diego Comic-Con International.

San Diego (I-Newswire) July 3, 2012 - Since 1997, San Diego Pretzel Company has been selling their twisted treats from carts at Comic-Con while focussed on its mission to serve America’s finest pretzel in America’s finest city.

With more than 120,000 attendees every year, Comic-Con is a main event for anime lovers in San Diego. To serve the hungry crowd, food and snacks need to be served quickly as lines can increase in no time. These pretzels are served at different locations in the convention center and are all natural and hand rolled using only the finest ingredients.

Founded in 1995, San Diego Pretzel Co. was born from the dream of a chef who loved pretzels and had a twisted obsession for perfection. Harris Golden’s previous experience as an executive chef, food consultant and cookbook author instilled his commitment to culinary excellence which he has translated to the business. He has spent more than 17 years refining his delicious all natural soft pretzel recipe, which are artisan made by hand at the company’s factory in National City, CA. Bill Joering, a former food services executive from Philadelphia – the U.S. pretzel capital - got one taste of the pretzels and left his career to join San Diego Pretzel Co. because according to him, he’d never tasted a pretzel so good. Since then, the duo has been on a journey to provide authentic Bavarian soft pretzels to everyone.
