After the tremendous popularity of Galaxy S III, Samsung is now adding more feathers to its cap by announcing the 'Mini Galaxy S III'. All of us are aware that Samsung Galaxy S III received loads of users' appreciation after it outsmarted Apple's new iPhone.

Now, Samsung confirmed the existence of the 'Mini Galaxy S III'. Samsung just avoids saying anything right now but it has been known that this Mini Samsung Galaxy S III will have 4-inch screen display.

The new smartphone will have better processor of 1GHz with dual-core technology. Besides, it will also have super AMOLED display of 800 x 400, MicroSD expansion, long running battery of 1500mAh. The other attractive features include camera of 5MP, bluetooth and NFC.

Mini Samsung Galaxy S III would be designed on Google's latest mobile operating system Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, considered the safest mobile operating system in offering several impressive features. Samsung has chosen ST-Ericsson NovaThor as the power platform for this new device. This is the forth Samsung device, which would use ST-Ericsson NovaThor platform.

Marc Cetto, Senior Vice President and head of Smart Platform Solutions for ST-Ericsson said, "Our NovaThor platforms continue to gain traction in the market and with the new GALAXY S III mini, we have added another great Samsung smartphone to the list of devices powered by ST-Ericsson."

"Mini Galaxy S III is somewhat similar to its older version but does not have muscle power that is seen in the Galaxy S III. We can say it a compact version. Though, the company guarantees for high performance, better user interface and eye-catching design."

Apparently Mini Galaxy S III will not give that much power of Galaxy S III but this would be the best choice for those who want smaller phones with dual core capacity and NFC.

The market and costing of Mini Samsung Galaxy S III will not be declared yet. But we can guess that the cost will remain lower than the previous version.
