For the month of November, Long Island based business Samantha Drew Interiors will be supporting the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund by donating a percentage of the sales, both in store & online, to help the relief efforts of Hurricane Sandy victims.
Long Island based home accessories and furnishings retailer Samantha Drew Interiors, recently announced that they will be donating a percentage of their sales to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund in the wake of Hurricane Sandy for the next 30 days.
"This is a cause near to our hearts, because of the communities that were affected" said Michelle Mancuso, owner of Samantha Drew Interiors. "This storm not only hit us, but many people we know."
For the entire month of November, Samantha Drew Interiors will be supporting the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, by donating a percentage of the sales, both in store and online, to help the relief efforts of Hurricane Sandy victims.
The American Red Cross is part of the world's largest volunteer network found in 187 countries and currently, more than 3,800 Red Cross disaster workers are operating shelters, distributing food and relief supplies, and providing health services and emotional support to Sandy victims.
"After a fire devastated our store just over a year ago, we were able to rebuild and come back stronger than before thanks to our friends, family, and the community," says Mancuso, "We want to do the same for those who were affected by Hurricane Sandy, especially since there is so much devastation across our local area."
