Safety Transportation Achievement Recognition (STAR) Award Presented to Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation, Inc. by the California Highway Patrol

Anaheim (I-Newswire) September 27, 2012 - Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation was presented with the annual California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) Safety Transportation Achievement Recognition (STAR) Award on September 18, 2012, leading all other bus and motorcoach companies in California, and was the only provider recognized in the category of over 20 buses. The award formally recognizes California motor carriers in the truck and bus industry for their efforts in making safety the number one priority in their day-to-day operations and their continued commitment to highway safety across Northern California. Accepting the award were Alfredo Villa and Rafael Chaves, Project Manager and Area Safety Training Manager, respectively.
The California Highway Patrol presented the STAR Award at the CHP Commercial Vehicle Safety Summit which is an educational seminar, sponsored by the CHP. This has been the third year in which the STAR Award has been presented to an exceptional business practicing safe transportation with twenty or more motor coaches. This year, the award was presented by CHP Commissioner Joe Farrow, with FMCSA Administrator Anne Ferro.
