Safe Makeup Products for Pregnant Women

Online, July 5, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The Safe Cosmetics and Personal Care Products Act of 2013 introduced on March 21, 2013 in the USA. It was designed to give the U.S. Food and Drug Administration authority to ensure that personal care products are free of harmful ingredients. Usually, an Act is a response to a problem that demands government action. Did you know that your cosmetics may have harmful ingredients? During pregnancy, studies have shown that fetal exposure to some toxins can have long term effects as the child grows up. The baby gets exposed to these toxins from the mother, and they are not eliminated, and over time they may cause medical problems. Dr. Sachar created this line of safe non-toxic makeup for pregnant women to give them a choice for safe cosmetics in pregnancy.
