S.E.T.I.'s Dr. Seth Shostak Turns to Area51 Looking for Signs of Et

S.E.T.I. scientists for over 40 years have concentrated their efforts on the stars and extrasolar planets, but can Area51 provide some insight into whether Et exhists at all? Next week Dr. Shostak will turn Alien Hunter as he evaluates confidentially collected tracking photos taken near Area51. Although no one has been able to find an actual piece of Et's saucer for S.E.T.I. to look at, tracking photos of the disc taken using long range cameras have just been made available. According to Barbara Vance, a close colleague of Dr. Shostak, he will begin looking over the samples after he returns from a trip to see the recent solar eclipse.

Dr. Shostak hosts the S.E.T.I. "Are We Alone" radio program where he discusses S.E.T.I. topics and objectives. They agree that at least one advanced civilization exhists and debate over what is the purpose of extraterrestrial visitation. Dr. Shostak says that "Even though investigating Ufos is not his day job", he is a little interested in what this new confidential source is able to deliver. With computer aided design software (CAD) the craft can be modeled and its engineering studied to see if anything can be found which would be in the interests of S.E.T.I.. This could help speed up the search for the radio signal S.E.T.I. seeks to discover using radio telescopes and computers from around the world.

Area51 was discovered a little over 20 years ago and is rumored to be where the extraterrestrial saucers are disassembled and studied by top secret scientists. If the speculation behind Area51 is true, the facility can not only solve the secret of how Et got here for Dr. Shostak, but how far away is the extraterrestrial planet, and maybe even what signals Et uses to communicate. No one has been able to bring back proof that beings of extraterrestrial intelligence are hidden there and access to the facility is protected by lethal force. According to one major Ufo reporting center Area51 has one of the highest reported "incident" rates in the world originating from the region around the restricted facility. This Extraterrestrial hotbed may just provide the clue Dr. Shostak is looking for in his search for extraterrestrial intelligence.
