Royal India Del Mar Celebrates New Del Mar Location With Grand Opening Event

The restaurant voted “Best Indian” by San Diego Magazine will host festivities at its newest location the weekend of March 15th and 16th

San Diego (I-Newswire) March 11, 2013 - After the soft opening of its second San Diego location in January 2013, Royal India announced, today, its Grand Opening event with a weekend of festivities, March 15 – 16, 2013. The restaurant, voted 2012’s “Best Indian” by San Diego Magazine and “Most Romantic” by CitySearch, invites patrons to join in the celebration of Royal India Del Mar with live entertainment and specials on its award-winning cuisine.

On Friday, March 15th and Saturday, March 16th, Co-Owners Sam and Jag Kambo will host the Grand Opening celebration, complete with complimentary champagne and dessert with each dinner, belly dancers, live sitar music, and festive décor.

This marks Royal India’s second location, following its Downtown location that opened its doors in 1996 and is still serving guests today.

“We’ve enjoyed our introduction to the Del Mar community thus far, but are excited to make it official with a grand celebration this month,” said Jag Kambo, Co-Owner of Royal India. “The event gives us a chance to thank our returning guests and welcome new diners to join in on the great atmosphere and food Royal India has been known for, for over 16 years.”

With 2300 square feet of traditional Indian décor, direct from palaces in India, and a floor-to-ceiling waterfall, North County can now enjoy lunch and dinner, daily, with the same, award-winning menu items offered at the Downtown location.
