Roving Coach's CJ Scarlet Named Among 62 Pitch Winners in Make Mine a Million Business™ National Event

Chief Rover of Revolutionary Triangle-Based Employee Engagement Company Receives $1000 Prize for Winning Business Pitch in National Competition

Count Me In for Women's Economic Independence, the leading national not-for-profit provider of resources, business education and community support for women entrepreneurs, has named CJ Scarlet, Chief Rover of Roving Coach International, one of 62 Pitch Winners selected in its Make Mine a Million $ Business event, M3 1000, held on April 4, 2011 in Denver, Colorado.

M3 1000 is the largest business pitch competition for women of its kind in the United States. The Denver event featured more than 300 women entrepreneurs from across the nation pitching their businesses, participating in business growth education sessions, and building business opportunities with each other.

Scarlet, along with Roving Partners Nicoa Dunne and Stephanie McDilda, founded Roving Coach in March 2009, and the company has been boosting employee engagement for organizations ever since. By utilizing an innovative coaching methodology and implementing dynamic engagement metrics, the Triangle-based company not only raises engagement, but provides organizations with the ability to monitor engagement levels in real-time. Their innovative model has garnered them national recognition throughout their current period of rapid expansion, and they recently opened a UK base of operations, allowing for better service to their growing global clientele base.

"We're honored to have won in this round of the competition, and I feel confident we'll be in the running next round," said Scarlet. "This company's immense potential has been evident to me and my partners from day one, and now it's something that others are recognizing, too. There are big things in store for Roving Coach!"

Scarlet was also eager to recognize the company's own employees for its early successes: "Winning this award speaks not only to our incredible business model and leadership, but also to the talent and dedication of the coaches and employees who have played key roles in helping elevate Roving Coach to its current level."
