Rock-N-BowlA Team Fox to Benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation Research for Parkinson’s Disease

Sedona AZ (I-Newswire) February 14, 2011 - The tour will showcase the innovation, social media strategies and the power of street teams to show the viral and grassroots power of the indie music scene to create a national fundraising event to benefit the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

The tour will start in May in Bellevue, Washington and after moving to the southern California market then will march east over a 90 day period and ending in Manhattan in a HUGE ROCK-N-BOWLA blowout. Each event will consist of celebrities from the worlds of music, sports and Hollywood in a high energy bowling tournament that showcases the music of the hottest indie bands in each market. In all, the event will feature over 100 bands and celebrities and thousands of fans all wrapped up in an experience that will not soon be forgotten.

ROCK-N-BOWLA will be partnering with rock radio and print across the country to help with the promotion of the event tour and we will make celebrities and our supporting bands available for exclusive phone interviews, offer tickets and bowling opportunities, OurStage.com challenges that will put listeners against their favorite local bands etc as contest prizes that our media partners can use accordingly. Our media partners will all receive logo placement throughout the venue leading up to and during the event.

ROCK-N-BOWLA will implement a heavy social networking strategy that will have us connecting and communicating with the friends and fans of OurStage, all media partners and our 100 + supporting bands, their street teams and our participating celebrities.
