Rob Ragsdale, Managing Director at Balentine, Elected to the Board of the Marbles Kids Museum

Raleigh (I-Newswire) July 26, 2011 - Rob Ragsdale, Managing Director of Balentine’s Raleigh office, has been elected to the board of the Marbles Kids Museum. Founded in 2007, Marbles Kids Museum features a series of interactive galleries and exhibits that promote creative thinking and active learning through engaged play.

Ragsdale is a Managing Director at Balentine serving the Research Triangle Park region and the Carolinas from Balentine's offices in Raleigh. Before joining Balentine, Ragsdale was a Relationship Manager with Franklin Street Partners in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, serving as investment advisor to both private and institutional clients. His tenure in the investment industry spans more than a decade, managing relationships throughout the United States.

Ragsdale is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was Phi Beta Kappa. He received an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Ragsdale has achieved the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and brings a wealth of financial and tax knowledge to Balentine clients. He lives with his wife and children in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a Trustee of the Preservation Society of Chapel Hill, a member of the Investment Committee of Christ Episcopal Church, and a volunteer for The Lawrenceville School's Alumni Admissions Council.
