Melissa's Colorado based business, RIVERFORK Consulting, has released the first free eBook in the RIVERFORK Change by Design series called ‘Leading Change by Design: Insight at the Intersection of Work+Life."

Melissa says: "I’m excited about this eBook! RIVERFORK Consulting was launched in April, 2009 with a desire to provide brilliant content and services that teach people how to design + manage + lead change in work & life.

Melissa noted, "Change is not something to just be managed. Change is about how we think, how we speak, how we use communication to connect and make a difference. Change is about design. Change is about choice."

Melissa noted she started writing and coaching for three reasons:

1. I felt I had something important to say.
2. I wanted to transition from helping a few people on an individual basis to helping more people through a broader platform.
3. I finally listened to those around me and realized what I was supposed to be doing in this world.

When asked about the origin of the RIVERFORK name, Melissa noted,

"The name RIVERFORK was chosen for three reasons. First, what better represents constant change than a river? Second: Fork represents choice. Third: The name represents my love for Colorado, the outdoors, and the fisherman. Change+Choice+Passion. Thus the name RIVERFORK."
