Ripple Digital Publishing Initiate Kids Write 4 Kids Creative Challenge

Online, January 8, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Ever dream of becoming a published author? Well if you're a kid between the ages of 6 and 12 with aspirations of becoming the next J.K. Rowling or Robert Munsch, now is your chance. Ripple Digital Publishing is announcing its new initiative called Kids Write 4 Kids. Children in grades 1 to 6 can submit their own original stories for their chance to become a published ebook author.

This is a wonderful opportunity for aspiring authors as well as a great classroom activity. We want to support and encourage children in their reading and writing development by giving them the chance to share their unique stories with other children around the world.

Submissions are divided into three age categories with stories selected from each category for inclusion in an ebook. All submissions must be original works. Selected submissions will then be included in ebooks by Ripple Digital Publishing and be available for sale from the Apple iBookstore and Amazon's Kindle store with net proceeds donated to First Book Canada, a charitable organization providing access to books for children in need.

The entry deadline for all submissions is March 31st, 2013, full submission rules area available at Ripple Digital Publishing. Stories must be typed and submitted in English and can be about any topic or theme. A minimum of five images must accompany each story and can be provided in a variety of mediums including hand drawings or original photography.
