Richard Kinsey to Play Benefit Concert at Long Beach City College Friday, May 2

An Evening of Broadway Hits Benefit Concert with Richard Kinsey will be held to benefit the arts program at Long Beach City College. The Broadway alum and a special guest will perform.

Broadway alum Richard Kinsey will bring his musical prowess to Long Beach City College next month to benefit the school's arts program.

Fine Arts Associates will present An Evening of Broadway Hits Benefit Concert on Friday, May 2, 2014, at 7:30 pm at Long Beach City College Auditorium, located at 4901 East Carson Street. The auditorium is on the corner of Clark Avenue and Harvey Way.

The benefit concert will feature a collection of Broadway hits performed by Richard Kinsey, who is best known for his role as Inspector Javert in the Broadway production of Les Miserables. He is the recipient of the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Supporting Actor and has produced, performed and acted on screen and on stage for more than 17 years.

The concert will also include a surprise special guest to be revealed during the show.

Ticket pricing starts at $20 each for Bronze Level general admission, followed by preferred Silver Level seating at $40 and preferred Gold Level seating, which includes a meet and greet with Richard Kinsey, at $75. For $100, the Diamond Level ticket offers preferred seating and a meet and greet with Richard Kinsey as well as two free tickets to any future Long Beach City College Performing Arts performance. Free parking will be available at lots D, E and F.

Proceeds from the concert will help provide much-needed supplies and materials for the Long Beach City College arts program.
