Ribbon-cutting Ceremony Celebrates Neighborhood Revitalization Group’s Four Seasons Plaza Renovation Project
Charlotte City Council Member John Autry to attend ribbon-cutting ceremony October 18, 2012
Charlotte, NC (I-Newswire) October 2, 2012 - Neighborhood Revitalization Group (NRG) is pleased to announce that it will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate its newest renovation project at the Four Seasons Plaza Shopping Center (6345 Albemarle Rd) at 11:00 a.m. on October 18, 2012.
“We’re happy to introduce our latest completed NRG project in the East Charlotte community to both business owners and consumers alike,” said James Sharples, NRG’s President. “The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Four Seasons Plaza Shopping Center marks a new era of partnerships for NRG in Charlotte”.
John Autry, District 5 Representative of the Charlotte City Council, will participate and offer a few remarks regarding the Four Seasons Plaza renovation project and the large economic involvement of the City of Charlotte through its Façade Improvement Grant Program. In total, the City invested $175,000 in the project.
Christopher Hemans, Business Corridor Recruiter with the City of Charlotte said, “NRG reached out to the City of Charlotte shortly after purchasing this center, wanting to not only improve the appearance of the site, but to give the Farm Pond community a place to gather for events. When you look at the dollar investment compared to what the long-term benefits are going to be for this community, you really understand this money is going to go a long way for the East side of Charlotte.”
Prior to its recent work in North Carolina, NRG injected new life into properties in diverse communities throughout California. Their project renovations range from structural changes to aesthetic updates. After NRG’s project completion, the Four Seasons Plaza Shopping center will feature a cohesive design that unifies the buildings, a new monument sign showcasing each tenant in the center as well as an improved parking lot layout with newly landscaped tree islands.
Four Seasons tenant Deli-cias Restaurante Latino will provide food and refreshments following the ceremony. On Saturday, October 20 from 12 p.m.- 4 p.m. NRG will host a public grand re-opening celebration featuring carnival games and activities appropriate for all ages as well as food, entertainment and sidewalk sales.
