Responsible Electronics Recycling Event To Be Held At Arrowhead Stadium


Vintage Tech Recyclers will host an electronics recycling event in Kansas City, MO, on Saturday, October 20.

Kansas City (I-Newswire) October 19, 2012 - Is there a TV taking up closet space? Are the junk drawers filled with cell phones and other gadgets? If so, please join Vintage Tech Recyclers on October 20th, 2012 at Arrowhead Stadium located at 1 Arrowhead Drive, Kansas City, MO 64129 from 8 a.m. -1 p.m.

Vintage Tech Recyclers, an R2, ISO 14001, and e-Stewards certified electronics recycling company will be onsite to provide a responsible recycling solution for the electronics being dropped off at the recycling drive. Vintage Tech provides IT asset management, responsible recycling solutions, and hard drive security in Chicago and their most recent facility in Riverside, MO.

Vintage Tech ensures all customers that all electronics are properly handled and recycled and all hard drives are protected using NIST 800-88 compliant software wiping.

The electronics recycling event will be held from 8am-1pm at Arrowhead Stadium located 1 Arrowhead Drive, Kansas City, MO 64129. Residents are encouraged to stay in their vehicles as Vintage Tech personnel assist in unloading material.

Electronics Items excluding Televisions are to be accepted at no charge. Fee’s for recycling Televisions include $15.00 for Tube Televisions and $25.00 for Wooden Console and DLP-Rear Projection TV’s.

Non-Accepted Items Include:
Lightbulbs, Mercury Containing Devices, Alkaline Batteries, Fluorescents, Household Chemicals, Toys, Books, Paint.
