REGAL Decision Systems Welcomes Former Homeland Security Executive

REGAL Decision Systems, Inc., welcomes Christopher Doyle to its management team.

Baltimore, MD (I-Newswire) October 23, 2012 - REGAL Decision Systems, Inc., welcomes Christopher Doyle to its management team.

Mr. Doyle joins REGAL’s Washington D.C. office as Executive Vice President. He will be supporting domestic and international clients, with a concentration on the federal government.

Previously, he was employed at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where he was the Director of the Infrastructure Protection and Disaster Management Division within the DHS Science and Technology Directorate. As Director, he led research and development efforts to enhance the performance and protection of responders, and also identified and reduced infrastructure vulnerabilities to terrorist attacks or natural disasters.

Mr. Doyle graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He started his career in the private sector, but was employed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in 1992, where he developed disaster assistance policy and managed recovery efforts, receiving a special distinction award for his efforts to relocate disaster victims from tents to trailers during Hurricane Andrew. In 2000, he was appointed by the FEMA Director as leader of the Office of Corporate Affairs, where he initiated and coordinated numerous partnering arrangements between FEMA and the private sector to provide enhanced disaster protection at the local level.

Mr. Doyle also managed the day-to-day operations of the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program and the National Dam Safety Program, and served as the Deputy Director of the Emergency Preparedness and Response Portfolio of the Science and Technology Directorate Research and Development.

In 2007, Mr. Doyle was appointed to the Senior Executive Service.
