Reef Gear Donates School Supplies to Local Students

School resumes for students across the country this week, and while some families are filled with excitement, some families can ill afford school supplies. In an effort to help underprivileged students, ReefGear.com has donated backpacks and school supplies to local middle and high school students in need.

Students have been provided with everything from DAKINE backpacks and lunch packs, to pens, paper, notebooks, and even USB memory sticks to last them throughout the entire school year. While ReefGear.com was running its own back-to-school sale, it kept the community in mind. From Aug. 1 to Aug. 10, ReefGear.com held its Back-2-School promotion, where a percentage of sales were used to fund the back to school donation. “Our customers were a big part of this, we couldn’t have done this without their support by purchasing all the shirts, shorts, backpacks, and Sanuks,” said Piccolo. “At ReefGear.com, we not only want to sell our customers awesome products at great prices, but we want to do it in a responsible way that benefits the community,” he added.
