Redrow Launch New Homes Buying Schemes

Redrow, the national UK house builder, is holding two events this weekend on 28th and 29th April 2012 to inform buyers about two Government-backed schemes, NewBuy and FirstBuy.

London (I-Newswire) April 25, 2012 - Both schemes are available for first time buyers and existing homeowners who are struggling to find the finances to get onto the property ladder.

The two events are taking place at their new developments in Humberside and Liverpool at Cressington Heath in Garston and Fox’s Fold in Barton-upon-Humber. There will be mortgage and finance specialists available to talk to prospective buyers about the purchasing schemes and buying options. The NewBuy scheme was launched in March 2012 by the UK Government to help both first-time buyers get onto the property ladder, as well as existing home buyers who are finding it unaffordable to move home.

Redrow homes are offering a range of new homes for sale on both of their developments including two, three and four bedroom homes and apartments. Buyers will be able to buy new build homes with a 5 per cent deposit.

The FirstBuy scheme was launched in November 2011 and is also available for first-time buyers on selected Redrow houses for sale. With the FirstBuy scheme, buyers can buy a property for sale with a 5 per cent deposit and buy up to 75 per cent of the property value with a mortgage. The remaining 20 per cent balance is jointly funded by the house builder and the Government with an equity loan which is paid when the property is sold or after twenty five years, whichever is sooner.

The Redrow new homes include high design specifications, integrated kitchen appliances, en-suite bathrooms and energy efficient features that will help householders reduce their costs on fuel and heating bills.

Redrow sell new build homes all over the UK including new homes in Kent, new homes in Birmingham and new houses in Suffolk. They also build new developments in Bristol and new homes in Lincolnshire.

Prices for their new homes start at £104,999.
