Red Skelton Tribute Show Displays Artwork and Paintings of the Famous Comedian

Las Vegas visitors and locals alike can enjoy art and laughter in the Westin showroom on Flamingo. Brian Hoffman, Las Vegas' top rated Red Skelton Impersonator, now displays limited editions of the legendary comedian's lesser known talent.

While most American's knew Red Skelton for his starring rolls on radio, in movies and his own television variety show where he was known as the king of comedy and adlibs, few people knew he was pursuing another talent.

Red Skelton started dabbling in painting as a way to relax and unwind. Years of producing a weekly variety show brings great pressure to create new material and routines. The work load can be overwhelming.

Everyone needs a way to relax and the creative side of Red was always working overtime. His wife Georgia, having some experience in the arts, suggested he take up painting as a way to relax.

His original artwork would sell for thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of dollars and he knew that his fans couldn't always afford the originals so he had authorized reproductions made in limited quantities, each with a letter and a seal of authenticity.

The majority of Red Skelton paintings and artwork consisted of clowns. Often the paintings were self portraits with many of them looking like Freddie the Freeloader, the hobo who lived in the city dump.

All of Red Skelton's artwork is numbered, whether it was done on canvas, ceramic, or produced on plates, they all have titles to the prints with names like "The Pledge", "Elegance", and "My Thanks".
Many of the art galleries that have housed Red's paintings have closed, some of his work can still bee seen in Las Vegas.

While the art collection that's displayed is very limited, the laughs are non stop in this family show. Just like the paintings and artworks of Red Skelton, a limited quantity of discount tickets are available. The first 100 people to use the promo code ART will get half off the regular priced admission.
