Hollywood, FL (I-Newswire) February 28, 2013 - Ellen Mitchel, Broker/Owner with RE/MAX Executive Realty, has been appointed to serve on the Broward Board of Governors for the Miami Association of Realtors® and as a Director for the Florida Realtors®. This is the third straight year that Mitchel has been chosen as Governor, and the second year as Director. Each organization has an intensive application process and careful committee review as part of the selection requirement. Mitchel is an award-winning professional who works on behalf of hundreds of South Florida families and has deep ties to the community.

Mitchel also expects to continue working with families to avoid foreclosure. As part of the “fiscal cliff” deal passed earlier this year, Congress extended the Mortgage Debt Relief Act through 2013.
