To explain spine care in the 21st Century with emphasis on prevention, Ravenswood Chiropractic & Wellness Center is holding a three part lecture series presented by Dr. Kenneth Weber, a Chiropractic Physician.

Here are the details about each session:

Part 1:
Date: Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

Time: 7:00 PM

Duration: An hour & a half

Topic: During this session, Dr. Weber will combine fundamentals of spinal anatomy and biomechanics to teach strategies to limit stress on your spine and achieve maximum spinal strength. The session will end with an interactive workshop reviewing proper posture, correct lifting techniques, and beginner spine stabilization exercises.

Part 2:
Date: Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

Time: 7:00 PM

Duration: An hour & a half

Topic: During this session, Dr. Kenneth Weber will explain the diagnostic approach physicians use for spinal pain syndromes and provide an overview of multidisciplinary treatment strategies for spinal pain syndromes. The session will end with an interactive workshop reviewing concepts from the previous session and then instruction on intermediate spine stabilization exercises

Part 3:
Date: Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

Time: 7:00 PM

Duration: An hour & a half

Topic: During this session, Dr. Weber will focus entirely on prevention of spinal pain syndromes by living a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Weber will discuss how proper diet and exercise can help promote spinal health and prevent spinal pain. The session will end with an interactive workshop reviewing concepts from the previous sessions and then instruction on advanced spine stabilization exercises.
