Radio Mantra Kicks Off 2nd Edition Of RJ Giri In Jalandhar

The station that came up with the first ever RJ hunt in the city of Jalandhar has returned with the second edition of the super hit radio reality show: RJ Giri.

jalandhar (I-Newswire) September 21, 2012 - The station that came up with the first ever RJ hunt in the city of Jalandhar has returned with the second edition of the super hit radio reality show: RJ Giri. The station will open its line for the entries from 22nd September onwards.

The week long audition's will go on till 29th of September. Aspiring RJ's (20years+) can come to the designated venues for auditions. Contestants will be judged on their spontaneity, clarity, sense of humor, overall personality and the local connect to make it to the top ten. The hunt will be spread over various elimination stages and involve multiple on-ground tasks. The final top four will be allotted an hour's slot On-Air and will be exposed to listeners' votes for a week's time. The grand finale scheduled for Saturday, 13th October where one lucky winner will be chosen on the basis of voting and the scores given by Mantra's jury members. While the winner will get a lifetime opportunity to be trained and mentored with Radio Mantra, the station will not let go the listeners empty handed. One of the lucky voters will ride back home on a brand new TVS Twister.

To ensure maximum participation from the city, various channels are being used to invite entries: phone, text, post and mobile studio.
