Radio Drive nominated by Hollywood Music Awards for best Alternative song for 2012
St Paul, MN (I-Newswire) October 31, 2012 - The Hollywood Music Awards has nominated Radio Drive song "Never" for best Alternative song for 2012. The awards will take place November 15th, 2012 at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood, CA.
Radio Drive featuring Kevin Gullickson is a blend of Alternative Rock music. The song "Never" is from Radio Drive's latest CD "This is Our Time", released in May 2012. This CD was mixed and mastered by Grammy Award winner Gene Paul, son of legendary Les Paul.
A music video for "Never" was just released in October 2012 produced by Honor Media of Minneapolis, MN and is now on YouTube. Already there have been thousands of views from around the world.
Songwriter Kevin Gullickson explains the inspiration for the song "This song is about breaking free from the strongholds of words spoken over our lives. Most of us don't realize the words we speak have the power to imprison or bring freedom, to build or destroy. It's time we draw a line in the sand and say to those strongholds "Never...never come this way again"."
