Radicon Gears Up For Elland Move

Elland (I-Newswire) December 6, 2011 - The head office move into the custom built facility, is a major step forward for the Radicon business, not only in the UK but as it continues to expand its global coverage.

The move is part of the continued investment into the business from the Elecon Engineering Group, Asia’s largest and fastest growing gear manufacturer, who bought the Radicon division from David Brown Gear Systems in November 2010.

The new facility is twice the size of the old Radicon facility and provides the ideal platform for Radicon to expand and incorporate an Engineered Products division. The move now enables the business to supply bespoke Engineered Products up to 6,000KNm to its growing, global customer base.

The move will also benefit the current standard product division within Radicon, which specialises in industrial gearboxes, geared motors and worm gears. Equally the larger factory has enabled further expansion of the rapidly growing Service & Repair division.
