Quest Workspaces Donates 10 Percent of Profits to Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts

In the spirit of giving, Quest Workspaces is donating 10 percent or proceeds from deals brokered in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

Quest Workspaces opened its fifth executive office space in New York's historic Time Life building only days before one of the most destructive natural disasters hit the Northeast region. Greeted with power outages and flooded streets due to Hurricane Sandy, Laura Kozelouzek, founder and CEO of Quest Workspaces, and her staff worked around the clock to accommodate businesses displaced by the storm.

Penning deals in her pajamas, Kozelouzek fieldeld urgent phone calls from large coporations in search of a place to power up and get back to business. As day broke, Quest signed more than 7,000 square feet of Executive Class A office space to companies such as Foursquare, who took 48 work stations, Aflac and Guardian Life Insurance.

In an effort to give back to the communities affected by Hurricane Sandy, Quest will donate 10 percent of revenue from disaster displaced businesses to Tunnels to Towers' hurricane relief fund benfitting neighborhoods impacted by the storm. Quest also circulated information to tenants about how to get involved with relief efforts and donated the reception area of Quest's Coral Gables location to host the League of Prosecutors' Hurricane Sandy fundraiser, which raised more than $1,500.

"As a community, we are all impacted by Hurricane Sandy's devastion and its imperative that we pull together at crucial times like this to help rebuild our neighborhoods and restore our communities," said Laura Kozelouzek. "Quest is dedicated to sharing its resources with those less fortunate and we encourage others in our industry to donate a percentage of their profits from the storm to helping others in need."

The independently owned and operated Quest has carved a unique niche in commercial real estate with innovative, shared office space solutions that feature both multi-purpose client lounges and open spaces for socializing, networking and idea-sharing as well as closed offices and conference rooms for uninterrupted privacy. Move-in ready offices allow speed to market within 24 hours, and flexible leasing terms, from one week to three years with no startup capital, attracts both small and large companies at various stages of development such as Dewey & LeBoeuf, Big Energy Productions and Starwood Hotels.
