PSD To Wordpress - WordPress Version 3.4.1 Fills Its Security Gaps!

After the release of its updated version, 3.4, the WordPress developers have announced the launch of yet another extended version of the blogging platform, version 3.4.1 that leaves no scope for security loopholes.

With the news of WordPress developers announcing the launch of the extended version of WordPress 3.4 doing the rounds, reports claim that the new version 3.4.1 of the popular open source CMS will come with a handful of inbuilt applications, leaving no scope for bugs and security issues. According to a source, the earlier version of the CMS 3.4 that has been downloaded more than three million times since its launch about fifteen days ago holds a number of flaws by default.

It enables site administrators and editors to make use of unfiltered-HTML on installations of multiple sites, which could have allowed the users to manipulate cross-site scripting (XSS) assaults, for instance, by using some malevolent codes while publishing the content of their blogs.

The source added that the new 3.4.1 version also does away with the propensity of leaking any important information by the users, saved in the form of drafts, private messages of the blogger, etc, by strengthening its security that will restrict them to see or access through these messages. Reports further said that WordPress 3.4.1 will add extra security for safety against the attack of cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and will do away with the utility of WordPress explain nonce that might disseminate superfluous information. It also added that the additional security steps undertaken by the platform will facilitate a host of activities like, PSD to HTML conversion, PSD to WordPress Conversion or the activation of a child themes along with its parent theme.

No doubt, the launch of this extended version will further increase the overall security of the highly applauded blogging platform, providing its users an impeccable and secure WordPress experience but will also rectify a myriad of flaws that the users have experienced in the past with its earlier versions. These include corrections of category permalink structures, detection problem related with the templates displayed in the theme's page, newly added and existing plug-ins, wrongly loaded JavaScript based themes, etc., along with the congruity with servers that sometimes run PHP versions.

However, this latest WordPress version has also been powered to provide support for uploading pictures on Apple's latest iOS 6 operating system.
