ProFlixSales has found innovative use for the new HDMI mulitviewers, Software Usability Testing. .

Software Usability Testing Labs need to record a variety of video sources from both cameras and computers - user keystrokes, body language, browsing preferences, and other data. these HDMI multiviewers are being used to combine these multiple video sources (computers & cameras in this example) into one video stream This one HDMI signal can be viewed on a single screen, simultaneously. Each of the windows are freely adjustable and have full screen capability. This allows the Usability testers to view what the subject is doing, how the subject is reacting and what the programs output is, all at the same time. Recording this stream provides a easy synchronized record of all the relevant factors.

The new Sequoia 4H HDMI multiviewer allows 4 HDMI inputs to be viewed on one screen. These full featured units support both audio and video, with a maximum video input/output resolution of 1920x1200, keyboard and mouse control of attached computers, Picture-In-Picture, Image Overlay Fader Control, Video loss detection alarm and more. Each multiviewer window is freely adjustable including full screen capability. This allows the Usability testers to scale each input for optimal viewing.
