The Professional Developmental Football League (PDFL) announced it has restructured for the 2012 season.

SeaTac (I-Newswire) November 4, 2011 - The Professional Developmental Football League (PDFL) announced it has restructured for the 2012 season. The PDFL was created three years ago by Founder/CEO Theo Hall III. “I am very excited about the direction we have taken in order to implement my vision of bringing professional football to the fans of the Northwest and beyond,” Hall said.

The PDFL also announced it has hired Joel Davidson as league President and Ron Davis as V.P./Director of Football Operations.

The goal of the league is to bring exciting football to the fans and to make the players and their well being a priority. “By putting the players first, we can go beyond football and provide our players with the vital life skills they need. We are pleased to announce the partnering with well known organizations across the country to build the best mentoring program possible,” Davidson added.

The PDFL has also created an Advisory Council to help advise the PDFL on its ideas and objectives. The council will be very involved in the implementation and development of the mentoring program for the players. “I am very excited about the corporate restructuring and the addition of our Advisory Council. This will allow us to expand on our vision of what the PDFL can bring to the communities of our teams”, Hall stated.

The PDFL is currently negotiating with various cities interested in bringing professional football to their city. The teams will consist of former professional players and collegiate level players that have exhausted their NCAA eligibility, with the goal of creating an

avenue and opportunity for them to continue towards their goal of playing in the NFL. All games will be played with NFL and PDFL rules.

About THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE:
What is developmental professional football?

It is 11 on 11 football played under N.F.L./PDFL rules. It is designed to
give high caliber athletes and coaches a platform to display and improve
their skills with some pursuing professional careers at the next level.

What makes developmental pro football different from semi-pro?

Unlike semi-pro football the majority of players on PDFL teams, have
college football backgrounds playing previously at the D1, D2, or D3 level
and have achieved their college degree. This ensures a higher level of
professionalism, competition and dedication to the game. The PDFL teams
also offer more to the community with the ability to advertise local
businesses and attractions on televised games.

Who supports the PDFL?

The PDFL teams work in partnership with their communities. The teams use
ticket sales, sponsor finances, private endowments and other contributions
to finance the teams and League. In return the teams support the
community by donating to local charities not just with donations but
personal time and events. The teams also sponsor events like the free
community BBQ and youth football camps. The teams also bring exposure and
recognition to the community through televised games which feature
commercials advertising local businesses and attractions.

The Professional Developmental Football League is a premier professional
football league providing a genuine platform to assist high-level football
athletes in attaining the realities of the Next Level.
