Primavera: A Mediterranean Renaissance at Siam City Hotel, Bangkok

The Siam City Hotel is pleased to unveil a whole new dining experience at Primavera Restaurant. Formerly a bastion of authentic Italian fine dining, the establishment has now expanded to include French, Spanish and Moroccan cuisine.

The Siam City Hotel, part of Siam Hotels & Resorts, is pleased to unveil not just an exciting new menu, but a whole new dining experience at Primavera Restaurant. Formerly a bastion of authentic Italian fine dining, the establishment has now expanded to include French, Spanish and Moroccan cuisine as well.

The extensive menu includes a bevy of classic and innovative pan-Mediterranean dishes, such as frog legs sauteed in rosemary-garlic butter; saffron infused Sicilian seafood soup; spaghetti with fresh crab meat and traditional tomato sauce; seared yellow fin tuna steak with wasabi sauce; osso bucco with saffron risotto; rabbit braised in white wine with polenta; vineyard snails with Italian basil butter; seared duck breast with orange sauce; lamb tagine with couscous and classic seafood paella.

The hotel's Executive Chef, Khun Viroj Cherdsaeng, would like patrons old and new to step out of their "comfort zone" and embrace the new menu with all its complex and exotic tastes: "Change is always risky, but we feel we've created a menu full of flavour, deliciousness and flair! Although Thais are particularly fond of spicy food, I know they will warm to classic Mediterranean dishes like tagine, paella and osso bucco. And for our foreign guests, I'm certain many of the dishes will appeal to their more adventurous and rounded palate."

Busy professionals are encouraged to stop by and sample the restaurant's express anti-pasta and tapas buffet lunch on weekdays (Baht 555++). The restaurant is open Monday to Friday for lunch (11:00 - 14:30) and dinner (18:00 - 22:30), and dinner only on Sunday.
