Molly and Liz Hanley are identical twin sisters who write, sing, and play music that is the story of their lives, and the music on this EP comes directly from the heart. Safely established in their 9-5 jobs, they began to realize that life was too short to fear the call of their passion for music any longer. To make a major turn in life and begin chasing your passion rather than staying
where it’s safe requires talent, drive, and a huge leap of faith, and The Hanley Sisters have captured it all in this debut album. The heart and soul of Molly and Liz’s journey is entwined in every note and lyric. The Hanley Sisters currently live together with one of their brothers and a handful of dogs in northern Connecticut. They love pizza and pickles (but not together), and they currently work the 9-5 grind in order to pay rent, keep up with Molly’s obsessive purchasing of white guitar accessories, and support Liz’ alkaline and gluten-free lifestyle, while chipping away at monstrous student loan debt; but most importantly to fund their indie singing/songwriting project, The Hanley Sisters.
