Smart Selling Tools Announces Call for Submissions for the "Top 40 Marketing Tools of 2014"

Following its popular Top 40 Sales Tools report, Smart Selling Tools announces its upcoming Top 40 Marketing Tools report and is seeking submissions from vendors with tools that have a strong impact on business' revenue. Inquiries are due by July 25.

“Marketers’ revenue responsibilities are moving further down the funnel. And their activities have more of an impact on sales cycles than ever before,” said Nancy Nardin, CEO of Smart Selling Tools.

Since marketing has become more intertwined with the sales landscape, Smart Selling Tools is introducing a new annual report to showcase the top 40 marketing tools. They have already selected the first five tools that are reshaping the world of marketing, including Act-On Software, Knowledge Tree, CallidusCloud, DiscoverOrg, and Hushly.

"Marketers' revenue responsibilities are moving further down the funnel. And their activities have more of an impact on sales cycles than ever before," said Nancy Nardin, CEO of Smart Selling Tools.

Marketing automation software Act-On Software is on fire, growing at a record pace year over year and was recently named a lead-to-revenue market leader by Forrester Research.  KnowledgeTree is an up-and-coming “hot” technology, providing sales and marketing teams with online software that helps them deliver the right collateral at the right time for sales engagements. CallidusCloud’s marketing automation module is fully integrated with their award winning sales enablement platform to rapidly drive leads from marketing all the way through to revenue.

DiscoverOrg has been selected for the Inc. 500 three years in a row and its award winning IT leads profiling solution is recognized by G2Crowd as a leader in sales intelligence. Hushly is opening the door for businesses to communicate with an estimated 98% of website visitors who are anonymous. Their innovative solution makes it possible to deliver more MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) to sales.

Smart Selling Tools is looking for additional nominations for the smartest and most innovative marketing tools to include in their inaugural issue of the Top 40 Marketing Tools of 2014. Nominations for these tools should meet one of more of the following criteria:
