Developed by the ever popular Arcaderush Games, the app is rated for everyone. Arcaderush is a leading developer of free games in almost every category, including kids’ games, brain games, car games, ninja games, board games, puzzle games and many others. Some of the developer’s highly rated games include Fly or Die, Penalty, Ben 10 Moto Ride 2, Epic Stand, and Kangaroo Jump.

Save the Joker is fairly new, but it has already received a few hundred downloads at the Play store and has an average 5.0 star customer rating at both the store and developer site.

It's a pure brain game that requires logical thinking without the background noise and movements responsible for the prevalence of ADHD. My son enjoys the challenge and hopes to make it to the higher levels

It's also been reviewed on several forums, especially by parents who call it “…one of the best apps to keep kids occupied.”

The beginning of the game is deceptively simple. Players have the simple task of breaking wooden blocks to make the joker fall – at the right angle – into the container. Each successful fall takes the player to the next level of the game. The complexity of the game increases after the first two levels. It’s here that players have to determine how to break objects to get the joker to fall into the container.

Sherry McCarthy, a parent who experimented with the app before giving it to her 5-year old son, shares her experience. “At first, I thought the app was just too simple. For me, there was really no challenge in the first levels, and I knew my 5-year old genius would only shrug at the game’s simplicity. However, as I progressed to other levels, I discovered that the app was not as simple as I first thought.”

So what's the verdict?

In Sherry McCarthy’s words, “The app provides a refreshing break from the high-intensity game apps promoted by most developers. The simple interface keeps players focused on the challenge at hand, which is to break the right blocks for the joker to fall.” She says, “It’s a pure brain game that requires logical thinking without the background noise and movements responsible for the prevalence of ADHD. My son enjoys the challenge and hopes to make it to the higher levels.”

The fun joker game is now available to Android users at the Google Play Store.
