Whether they are exploring new markets, attending industry conferences, or simply relaxing, the company’s executives venture to a wide range of destinations. In late December, Britt took Nora along on a trip to Florida to visit a new business partner and to strengthen the bond between president and team member. As Britt added, “We got a chance to learn more about each other and an exciting new brand while exploring a beautiful state. It was definitely a trip to remember.”

Britt had the rare opportunity to relax during an early-January trip to Mexico. It was an all-expenses paid vacation in which the president and team members Monique and Vanessa had the chance to soak up the sun and network with top leaders from across the industry. Britt also brought her parents along for the occasion. She commented, “My parents have been my strongest supporters and I wanted to pay them back for all they have given me.”

Later in January, the team will be taking a road trip to Tucson, Arizona to spread awareness for All Across Africa, an organization that connects people, especially women, in rural parts of Africa with western markets. Melissa and Tamarrah will be leading this campaign. As the president explained, “The organization sells various goods produced in developing nations and uses the vast majority of the proceeds to support the lives and development of the manufacturers. We couldn’t be happier to provide support to this incredible operation.”

In early February, Britt will take a few hand-selected team members to Texas for a quarterly national conference. Attendees will expand their knowledge bases while learning best practices to help further their careers. Top representatives will also be traveling to Chicago and Milwaukee to learn how to balance work and life.

Monique was recently promoted to executive manager, and she will be running a new retail grocery campaign as well as investigating new markets for expansion. As Britt stated, “Monique has been dedicating herself to both the team and her own personal development. She has been working so hard and we are excited to watch her grow and lead her own market.”

Training and coaching are two of Monique’s biggest strengths, and she has mentored many team members at Phoenix Events, Inc. as they transformed into confident and aggressive professionals. Her unique ability to scout good markets for expansion will also be valuable to the company as the team seeks to meet the increasing demand for their innovative services. “We are really looking forward to what Monique accomplishes in terms of expanding our portfolio and our overall presence,” Britt concluded.
