Industry Leader to Speak at Educational Forum on Procurement of "Blue" Cleaning

Elliott Affiliates CEO and Founder, Vince Elliott, will speak to facility management professionals on strategies for procuring sustainable, "blue" cleaning services at an educational forum in Boston this Thursday.

Founder and CEO of Elliott Affiliates, Ltd., Vince Elliott, will share ideas for implementing what he describes as emerging “blue” cleaning technologies at an educational forum Thursday, October 23rd in Waltham, Massachusetts.

At the event, an educational forum on how the cleaning industry is evolving, Elliott will discuss how facility managers can employ a “green to blue” cleaning strategy. He will talk about a performance-driven approach to cleaning services contracting. Elliott describes the buyer as “the dominant force” in the evolution beyond “green” cleaning practices.

Elliott, who founded the Chemical Free Cleaning Network (CFCN) in addition to Elliott Affiliates, has over 40 years of experience in janitorial outsourcing and chemical-free cleaning solutions. Elliot has authored hundreds of articles on outsourcing, performance-based cleaning contracts, and chemical-free cleaning, as well as a book, Extreme Green Cleaning, available on Amazon.

The forum is geared towards those in the various branches of facility management. It will be co-hosted by GenEon Technologies and Casey Engineered Maintenance Systems, and will be held at the Forefront Center for Meetings & Conferences in Waltham.

“Most things that kill germs will kill us,” says co-founder of GenEon, John Shanahan. Shanahan says the forum will also address how non-toxic cleaning solutions can help eradicate germs in a comprehensive, responsible way. The forum will also address how non-toxic cleaners can reduce workplace issues like absenteeism and workers’ compensation costs.
