GEM Capital Limited Follows Sony Computer Entertainment Sales Closely

GEM Capital Limited is closely following Sony Computer Entertainment as Global Sales of the PS4 Reach 30.2 Million Worldwide.

Console leader Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) has recently reported sales of their PS4 reaching the 30.2 million mark. Microsoft has still to release their Xbox One console sales figures which are apparently half of its opposing console leader Sony.

Last month Sony reported a six month net profit of up to $1.0 billion, acknowledging their PlayStation video game unit along with a low position of the yen for a great improvement in their finances as the console leader moves forward after past years of losses.

Sony Stated “We are sincerely grateful that gamers across the globe have continued to choose PS4 as the best place to play since its launch two years ago,” SCE global chief executive Andrew House said in a release.

Last month PlayStation helped Sony book its maximum second-quarter operating profit in eight years for the July-September quarter of 88bn yen, as heavy-duty

Sales of the PS4 balance a decline in smartphone sales and kept it on a recovery path after years of deterioration in its consumer electronics market.

With Christmas just around the corner the console leader (SCE) should maintain its robust position in the market, with Christmas sales of consoles and games taking them to a new record high. Leaving their opposition with a huge gap to fill if they are to still compete in the market. Stated Technology Analyst for GEM Capital Limited Wendy Hong.
