Firestorm Launches Advanced Learning Centre for Crisis Management

"Your Crisis is NOT Ebola: It IS assuring communicable illness is not the reputation issue that defines your company" webshop will be held for businesses on November 6 from 2-4 p.m.

Firestorm, the national leader in Crisis Management and Critical Decision Support, announced today the launch of the Firestorm Advanced Learning Centre offering two-hour, web-based Webshops in Crisis Planning, Response, and Management with separate tracks for Schools and Businesses. The first Business session on November 6 from 2-4 p.m. Eastern is entitled:  "Your Crisis is NOT Ebola: It IS assuring communicable illness is not the reputation issue that defines your company" (https://student.gototraining.com/120tf/catalog/5621774727386690304)

Due to the overwhelming need for Crisis plans that describe more than the ‘what’ to do in a crisis, Firestorm has developed a schedule of affordable Advanced Learning Sessions that help attendees understand the ‘How’ to in a crisis.

The first of these sessions for Business, addresses the unique challenges that companies face from emerging communicable illness threats. This two-hour Webshop provides companies with specific direction on what a company needs to do and say before, during and after a communicable illness threat.

Not having a communicable illness strategy with defined processes, procedures and triggers is not an option. Plans must align to standards and best practices, and critical legal threats must be explored. Firestorm has developed and implemented communicable illness plans for businesses over the past nine years and has aggregated what companies need to know and do now.

“Forward thinking leadership recognizes that all organizations face a crisis at some point and that the odds of their survival, while mitigating the impact to its stakeholders, reputation and profitability exponentially increases when prepared,” said Jim Satterfield, President of Firestorm and session facilitator.

“We designed these Webshops to conveniently address the crises that today’s organizations face, using tools and approaches that are current and actionable,” continued Satterfield.
